JACKSONVILLE, Fla – The haziness on Saturday was caused by smoke from the Canadian wildfires drifting southward behind the cold front. As a result, our high on the last day of a record-breaking month was only 84 degrees. Today, we expect temperatures to rebound into the low 90s under mostly sunny skies.
Monday’s highs will stay in the low 90s with a very slight chance of scattered afternoon showers. Rain chances increase on Wednesday and Thursday and along with cloudy skies, temperatures will stay below 90, closer to normal.
June 1st marks the start of the 2025 Tropical Season, which runs through November 30th.

Chances for tropical development remain low (less than 20%) at this time.
