Hail, lightning, and strong wind gusts dominated Sunday’s isolated storms. These storms will continue through Sunday evening for some areas. Southeast Georgia will continue to get storms into the late evening, as rain tapers off for Northeast Florida after sunset. Evening rain accumulations have dropped to no more than a quarter of an inch.

SUNDAY EVENING FORECAST:

Temperatures will drop to the mid-70s by midnight, with winds shifting from breezy to calm, high humidity, and mostly cloudy skies. Storms will remain isolated through midnight as storms shift from NE Florida and SE Georgia to Southeast Georgia.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Rain chances will remain in the 30 to 60 percentile for most of the work week, including Memorial Day.
