Warm air and frontal boundaries combine to make the next week the wettest yet

Tuesday evening forecast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – You would think rain was coming with plenty of clouds across the region. It is, just not today.

Expect our skies to darken and moisture to increase within the next 24 hours and then stick around for the next 5-7 days. And while the rain can impact our outdoor activities, the rainfall is much-needed.

Heavy downpours and gusty winds are likely over the next few days as the frontal boundary pushes south from Georgia into Florida. Localized flooding is possible, as well.

Rainfall next 3 days
