The mostly clear skies will make for a nice backdrop for the Jumbo Shrimp Friday Fireworks.

Near record highs this weekend with a slight chance of showers on Sunday. The unsettled pattern and the afternoon sea breeze will help spark a few more showers and storms on Monday.

Tonight: Mostly clear with patchy to areas of dense fog.

Saturday: Mostly clear skies early with patchy fog then becoming partly cloudy and hot. Morning lows in the 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s to 90s inland, 80s along the beaches. Record: 92 in 2011. Wind: S/SE 10-15 mph. Partly cloudy overnight with patchy to dense fog.

Sunday: Sunny and warm early with increasing clouds and rain chances after 2 pm. Rain chances will average 20-30 percent with slightly better chances for SE GA. Wake up temperatures in the 60s. Afternoon highs in the 80s to low 90s inland, upper 70s to low 80s for the sandy shores. Record: 94 in 1986. Wind: NE 10-15 mph.
