We are in for a beautiful Easter weekend, especially for those who don’t mind a bit of heat inland. Saturday will feature mostly clear skies and unseasonably warm temperatures, with afternoon highs soaring well into the upper 80s to near 90° across inland areas. Along the Atlantic beaches, it’ll be noticeably cooler, topping out around 80°, thanks to a steady southeast breeze blowing in at 15 mph with occasional gusts near 25 mph.
Overnight, winds relax inland under clear skies, allowing temperatures to dip into the mid to upper 50s. Some patchy fog is likely to develop in inland valleys around sunrise Saturday. Coastal areas will stay a bit milder overnight, with lows in the low 60s.
Easter Sunday looks dry, breezy, and warm—ideal for morning egg hunts with temperatures in the 60s during the early hours. As the day progresses, the Atlantic sea breeze will once again push inland during the afternoon. This will keep coastal highs in the upper 70s to low 80s while inland areas climb into the upper 80s and low 90s, flirting with record warmth.
Next week, inland temperatures may push even higher, potentially challenging daily record highs as this early taste of summer continues.
Oh and if you are seeking some rain...forget about it as the pattern looks dry for weeks.
