Grey skies and beneficial rain started the week. Sunny skies and much warmer temperatures are on the way.

Light rain and drizzle will continue through around 10 pm to midnight. Clear skies with mild overnight lows and patchy to dense fog is expected overnight. Partly cloudy skies Tuesday with sunny skies and warmer highs by midweek.

Tuesday: Patchy to dense fog early then becoming partly cloudy. Morning lows in the 40s and 50s for SE GA, 50s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the 70s inland, upper 60s along the sandy shores. Wind N/NE 5 - 15 mph. Mostly clear overnight with patchy fog.

Wednesday: Sunny skies and warmer.

Looking ahead: Afternoon highs will flirt with the 80s on Thursday as clouds move in during the evening and overnight. There is a slight chance of showers late Thursday and Friday as a cold front moves through. The cold front will bring great running weather for the Gate River Run!
