We Need the Rain but it Could Impact Your Day

Much colder temperatures are on the way

Clouds are moving in ahead of a slow-moving cold front. The cold front will bring much needed rain and for some, unwanted winter temperatures. Light showers and drizzle will be possible after midnight ramping up to steady light rain through the early morning commute. Heavier rain will move in on the backside of the morning rush and continue through the afternoon. Skies will begin to clear late Wednesday with much colder temperatures moving in through the rest of the week.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with increasing rain chances.

Wednesday: Impact Day due to rain. A wet start to the day with light rain early then heavier rounds through the afternoon. Morning lows in the 40s to low 50s for SE GA, upper 40s and 50s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the 50s and 60s. Rain chances will be higher north of I-10 at 80-100 percent and 60-80 percent south of I-10. Rainfall totals for the day 1.0 - 1.5 inch. Wind: N 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Chilly and breezy with 30s and 40s early. Highs will only reach t he 40s to 50s. Wind: NW 10-15 mph.
