Great day to get outdoors and (attempt to) fly a kite

It’s National Kite-Flying Day!

Saturday Forecast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With little wind in the forecast, flying a kite might be challenging, but worth a try today as the temperatures once again move the needle towards 80 degrees. Get outdoors and enjoy the spring-like sunshine!

After the morning fog burns off, most of the region will see partly cloudy skies with warm air settling in. Sea fog along the coast will stick around until lunchtime keeping the beaches slightly cooler this afternoon.

Expect fog to develop again overnight as Sunday morning starts, but it will quickly dissipate by noon.

The next chance of rain comes late next week, so check your sprinklers and tend to the yard today before Super Bowl Sunday steals away your afternoon tomorrow.
