Freeze Warning tonight, Saturday Morning

Freezing temperatures will start the weekend followed by sunny skies and warmer afternoon highs. A warming trend kicks off next week.

A Freeze Warning that started at 8 pm will continue through 9 am Saturday. Freezing temperatures will spread across our inland areas with frost possible all the way to the beaches. In southeast Georgia, icy and snow covered roads will freeze.

After the morning chill, sunny and warmer afternoons will be waiting with highs in the 60s by Sunday. Temperatures continue to climb next week, reaching the 70s by Wednesday.

Update: Freeze warning: 8 pm - 9 am, All of SE GA and NE FL including coastal zones through St. Johns County and in Flagler County, west of I-95. Frost will be possible across the area including the beaches.

Saturday: A Freeze Warning through 9 am. Icy roads likely across inland and coastal southeast Georgia. Sunny skies and slightly warmer afternoon highs. Morning lows in the 20s for SE GA, upper 20s to 30s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s to 50s. Wind NNE 5-10 mph.

Light Freeze and Frost possible again Sunday morning with afternoon highs in the 50s and 60s.

Temperatures continue to climb through next week, reaching seasonal to above seasonal averages. Rain chances increase late next week.
