A Freeze Warning will blanket the area tonight through early Friday morning. The Freeze Warning will impact our coastal and southern zones with Hard Freeze conditions expected well inland for Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida.

The “Hard Freeze” warning was dropped for winter warnings and advisories in October of 2024 and has been replaced with a Freeze Warning.

A Cold Weather Advisory starts at midnight and continues through 9 a.m. Friday. This Advisory replaces the former Wind Chill Advisory. Wind chill temperatures are in the teens and 20s through Friday morning.

Freeze warning: 7 p.m. - 10 a.m.

Cold Weather Advisory: 12 a.m. - 9 a.m.

Feels Like Teens, 20s (.)

Friday: A Freeze Warning through 10 am and a Cold Weather Advisory through 9 am. Near record lows will be possible across inland areas of southeast Georgia. Windchill values will dip to the teens and 20s through late morning. Sunny skies and slightly warmer afternoon highs. Morning lows in the teens to 20s for SE GA, upper 20s to 30s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the 40s. Wind NW 5-10 mph.

A Freeze Watch will become a Freeze Warning for Saturday.

A sunny Saturday with near record lows and below normal afternoon highs. Warmer temperatures are expected next week with highs approaching the 70s.
