📢Don’t risk your safety by venturing out at this time – low visibility and icy roadways are a dangerous combo! Please avoid non-essential travel until wintry conditions subside.
Drivers in the northern part of the state were encouraged to stay off the roads until the wintry conditions subsided.
Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday said the state has 11 snow plows that would be used, mostly in the Panhandle which saw the most snowfall during the historic winter storm.

There were also 120 trucks with spray rigs to distribute de-icing chemicals on roadways, 25 spreaders to distribute de-icing chemicals on roadways and generators standing by for traffic signals as needed, DeSantis said.
The snow was causing widespread issues in the state early Wednesday morning.
