WEATHER WARNING - FREEZE WARNING
A Freeze Warning is in effect from 11 p.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday.
Temperatures will drop near or below 30 degrees for parts of Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida. A Frost Warning is in effect for counties along the coast and St. Johns River.
Please bring plants and pets indoors. Encourage the unhoused to seek indoor shelter. You may want to consider wrapping your pipes and allowing them to drip slowly overnight.
SATURDAY EVENING FORECAST
Temperatures will drop into the 30s in the late evening of Saturday with clear skies. Rain is not in the forecast.
SUNDAY FORECAST
Sunday morning temperatures will be frigid in the mid to low 30s with light winds overall and clear skies. Winds will shift to the south bringing warmer air to help temperatures peak into the 60s with mostly clear skies.
LOOKING AHEAD
Frost is possible for most of the workweek. Two fronts will move through the southeast region, creating the possibility for rain at the beginning of the week and again toward the weekend. The week will begin with average temperatures before dropping below average and rising again toward the weekend with warm air from the south. As of Saturday, the best chances for rain will be Monday, Friday, and Saturday.
