JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Thursday morning was a chilly one, yet again, in the 30s and 40s. That’s a 20-30 degree difference over 24 hours since Wednesday morning.
Wednesday also recorded the 8th Top 10 Wind Gusts set for the month of December with the strong cold frontal passage at 48 mph.
While the sun will be shining, the blustery wind will make the below-normal temperatures feel even colder. Wind gusts are expected to be 10-20 mph throughout the afternoon.
We could see a few showers coming in off the Atlantic into this weekend, but it won’t ruin it for you by any stretch!
We’re aiming for highs in the lower 70s by Saturday and throughout the weekend.
The first day of winter is Saturday, December 21 and looking ahead, Jacksonville temperatures will return to normal with a forecast high of 64. Normal temperatures for this time of month is high 67, low 46.
