Not as cold tonight with warmer afternoon highs for Thursday. The warm-up will be brief with cooler than normal temperatures returning Friday. The roller coaster ride continues this weekend.

Thursday: Clear skies early then becoming partly cloudy to cloudy at times as another cold front approaches. A slight chance of showers west of Highway 301 during the late afternoon then again late in the evening as the front moves south of our area, 10-20 percent. Rainfall amounts will be light. Overnight and early morning lows in the 39s and 40s for SE GA, 30s to 40s and 50s for NE FL. Increasing clouds as the cold front approaches with highs in the 60s and 70s. Wind N/SW 5-10 mph.
Temperatures will be warm on Thursday then drop again Friday and Saturday. The next round of warmer temperatures starts Sunday and continues through early next week with highs in the 70s to nearly 80 degrees.
