JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The frigid temperatures that greeted residents of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia to begin December will continue into the work week.

Freeze warnings and watches are possible through Tuesday morning with overnight and morning temperatures dropping into the 30s.

SUNDAY FORECAST

Temperatures will drop into the low 40s and upper 30s by midnight with winds ranging from 3 to 7 mph coming from the northwest and clear skies.

Temperatures will continue to drop in the early morning hours of Monday into the low 30s. The freeze warning is from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday. A freeze watch is highly likely on Tuesday.
