It’s Fall Again...Y’all

. (.)

It has been partly cloudy and pleasant so far, but showers are creeping in from the west as the cold front moves into southeast Georgia. Skies will become cloudy as the front pushes through with a few showers possible through around 10 pm. Cooler temperatures settle in overnight. Sunny and seasonal temperatures will close the week and kick off the weekend. Increasing Tropical Rain chances next week.

Tonight: Cloudy to partly cloudy skies with a few showers possible through 10 pm.

Friday: Cooler under sunny skies. Grab the jackets and hoodies as 50s to low 60s are expected tomorrow morning. Afternoon highs will climb to the upper 60s and low 70s. Wind: N 10-15 mph. Clear and chilly overnight.

The weekend forecast looks great for the Jacksonville Fair with fall temperatures and sunny skies. Morning lows will be in the 40s and 50s. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 60s to low 70s.

Tropics: Tropical Storm Sara will be in the Caribbean and over Honduras this weekend. An estimated 10-20 inches of rain with higher amounts possible will bring flooding and mudslides through the mountainous regions. The system enters the Gulf late Monday or Tuesday of next week. It is too soon to determine what impacts, if any, the system could bring to portions of the eastern Gulf of Mexico, including Florida. Residents should regularly monitor updates to the forecast.
