Windy and Cooler Weather is on The Way, Grab a Jacket

Chilly Mornings, Breezy Afternoons

. (.)

Cool and windy weather is on the way.  Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, with a light sprinkle possible, as the north-northeast wind increases through the day.

Tonight:  Cooler under partly cloudy skies with increasing wind overnight.

Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies early then becoming partly cloudy late.  Increasing wind from the north-northeast 15 - 20 mph, gust to 30 mph inland, 15-25 mph with gusts to near 40 along our beaches.  A round of light showers and sprinkles will be possible as the wind increases.  Lows in the 50s and 60s.  Highs in the 60s to low 70s.  Rain chances 10 percent.

Thursday - Friday:  Windy and cool with less than seasonal temperatures with partly cloudy skies.  Morning lows will dip into the 40s, 50s and 60s.  Afternoon highs in the 60s to 70s.  Breezy conditions with northeast wind 15-20 mph and gusts to near 30 mph.

Weekend:  Breezy conditions continue with near seasonal temperatures.

Tropics:  Two areas we are watching.  In the Caribbean, a 20 percent chance of development over 7 days continues.  Invest AL-94 has a 30 percent chance in the next two days and a 50 percent chance in the next 7 days.  Neither pose an immediate risk to our area.

Sunrise:  7:30 a.m.

Sunset:  6:55 p.m.
