Slow storms have resulted in localized flooding with rain rates over 2 inches an hour during the afternoon. As storms fade lighter rain lingers well into the evening with isolated interior thunderstorms toward I-75.
Tomorrow will be like today with an 80% chance of rain developing after 1 pm. Expect high coverage almost everywhere with storms building back to the beaches. Highs will reach the low to mid 90s Tuesday with no cool down until it rains.
A stalled surface front will linger across Georgia through mid-week keeping the moisture flowing in without any big break in the rainy pattern through the weekend. Highs stay in the mid 90s with the potential for 2-4 inches of widespread rain during the week.
