Warm, windy and wet weather for some

Sunday radar

Sunday temperatures have warmed up quickly into the 80s as the rain chances increase, as well. Scattered rain and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms will be something we’re watching throughout the afternoon as the East Coast sea breeze and the Gulf Coast sea breeze converge inland near Hwy 301 and I-75.

Tonight: rain will decrease as we get closer to sunset at 8:07 p.m. leaving behind partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s. Overnight lows will stay in the 60s with another opportunity for patchy fog to form, especially in the areas that experienced rain.

More rain on Monday before our temperatures turn hot, hot, hot with near-record highs in the 90s forecasted for Tuesday through Friday before the next cold front hits the area.
