JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As the East Coast and Gulf Coast sea breezes continue to converge, areas of heavy rain and wind are popping up along Hwy 301 and I-10. We’ve seen up to 1.5″ of rain associated with some of these storms; however, there’s little to no lightning. Most shower activity should taper off around 8:00 p.m. after the sun sets.
The remainder of the evening will have partly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping into the 70s.
Looking ahead: Monday temperatures will start off in the mid-to-upper 60s with some patchy fog possible. Rain returns to the area mid-afternoon as temperatures rise into the mid-to-upper 80s.
Looking way ahead: hot and dry conditions will settle in on Tuesday thru Friday when we’ll see and feel the mid-to-upper 90s!
