JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Temperatures warmed up quickly! Plan for a stray shower later this afternoon mainly west of Hwy 301 where a few thunderstorms are possible. Highs in the low-to-mid 80s, with an easterly wind of 10-15 mph.

Tonight: 20% chance of scattered showers continues as temperatures drop into the 70s.

Sunday, Cinco de Mayo: cloudy skies with highs in the 80s, chance of showers is 50%.

Outlook: drying out by Tuesday with near-record highs expected by mid-week in the mid-90s!
