The Gate River Run is the USA 15k Championship. What does that mean for elite runners?

The three week countdown begins for the Gate River Run! News4JAX will be broadcasting the race live for another year. Each Friday in February at 7 p.m., Alessandra Pontbriand and Julie Stackhouse will discuss different topics on News4JAX+ about preparing for the race. For many, this race is a community event for locals to enjoy running or walking through different neighbors. For an elite few, they're racing for prize money and bragging rights.
