The family of an 18-year-old man who was shot and killed at a Westside apartment complex last week is asking for the community’s support. Marlon Lane was fatally shot on Sept. 10 at an apartment complex on Labelle Street. On Saturday, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 14-year-old Keyon Byrd in the murder of Lane. Mistee Wells, Lane’s aunt who loved him like a son, described the moment when she found out her son had died.
