Main Street Bridge reopens to drivers after tugboat crash; maritime traffic remains restricted

The Main Street Bridge in Downtown Jacksonville reopened for motorists on Tuesday morning after a tugboat crash prompted its closure for hours, according to the Florida Department of Transportation. News4JAX spoke with FDOT's spokesperson, Hampton Ray, who explained the bridge will remain closed to boat traffic until repairs are completed.
