Proposal would increase downtown St. Augustine parking fines from $35 to $100

The City of St. Augustine is considering nearly tripling the fines for illegal parking in the historic city from $35 to $100. According to a spokesperson for the city, the proposal comes as a direct result of residents’ traffic concerns related to the popular Nights of Lights event.
