14-year-old accused of killing parents in Middleburg home asked 911 dispatcher: ‘Pray for me’

A 14-year-old charged with fatally shooting his parents in their Clay County home called 911 from his cellphone after walking to CrossPointe Church in Fleming Island, about 1.4 miles from his Middleburg home. The 911 dispatcher remained on the phone with Trevor Lee until the Sheriff’s Office units arrived at the church. She encouraged him to tell the investigators what happened. She can be heard telling a nervous Trevor that the deputies had been asked not to point guns at him when they got to the church. “Take a deep breath because they’re going to come up and talk to you, so you need to be listening for them, OK?” the dispatcher says.
