Late-night plane crash in Flagler County spawns investigation

A plane crashed in a wooded area of Flagler County near the Volusia County line late Friday night. After hours of searching the woods overnight, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and Volusia County Sheriff’s Office found the wreckage near the county line. Officials said the pilot was the only person aboard the aircraft.
