After one of the worst years in decades for home sales in the Sunshine State, local realtors are reporting an uptick in activity to start 2025.

No one younger than age 19 is allowed to live in The Villages, the massive retirement community in central Florida which has the highest median age of any place in the U.S. Yet it is part of the fastest-growing metro area for young children this decade.

A 76-year-old woman from The Villages died after colliding with a pickup truck Saturday morning in Marion County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Professor MacManus cautions that while some older voters have gravitated toward Biden, there are many others like Allen and Wise who are firmly in Trump’s corner.

A man driving by in a golf car responded by shouting, White Power," a racist slogan associated with white supremacists.
