We kicked up our heels, petted puppies and enjoyed some time outdoors this week on River City Live. Here are some stories from the week that we think are worth sharing:

13.5 yrs ago, The London Sanctuary started off as a dog rescue. And while rehabbing and rehome hounds in Northeast Florida is still our primary focus, the needs of the community have required that they expand their outreach.

After saying goodbye to their beloved furry family member, Sophie, Eden and her husband Steve decided to at least check out a few rescue pups that were being exhibited at a nearby pet store. They met Connie Cannady, co-founder of The London Sanctuary, a hounds only non-profit.. DId Eden and Steve find their new pal? You’ll have to watch and see! Connie and her husband Jay care for around 40 hounds at a time. Over half of these dogs are ready for their forever homes or are being prepped for adoption. The rest are sanctuary members and are not available for adoption due to advanced age or medical conditions.
