Because of the low temperatures forecast for Friday and Saturday, the City Rescue Mission is increasing its overnight capacity for those who need shelter and Sulzbacher will provide a cold night shelter for those experiencing homelessness.

Between today and July 29, 121 Financial invites the community to donate complete Back-to-School backpack packages or individual supply items at any 121 Financial branch location to help families experiencing homelessness and poverty in Jacksonville as they prepare for the 2021-2022 school year.
Credit union donates toys, gift cards to Sulzbacher
121 Financial Credit Union on Monday donated a U-Haul full of toys and other gifts to Sulzbacher. 121 Financial Credit Union donated a U-Haul full of toys, clothing, hygiene products and other gifts to Sulzbacher just in time for the holidays. The credit union also donated $3,000 worth of gift cards. โIt was an important partnership because everyone has had a difficult year this year,โ said 121 Financial Credit Union President and CEO David Marovich. So for many of them, they donโt have the money to buy Christmas gifts this year.
