The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is sending a reminder that nesting season is underway for sea turtles, shorebirds, seabirds, and wading birds.

Sea turtle nesting season begins in one week, and St. Johns county officials are asking residents, visitors and businesses to protect the turtles’ natural habitat.
