Sandy Malone is an author and recovering wedding planner who lives on Jekyll Island, Georgia. She starred in "Wedding Island" on TLC and her books are based on the crazy she saw planning more than 500 wedding in the Caribbean. The Gem of the Golden Isles Series tells the fictional story of a young wedding planner who loses her job after a hurricane and goes home to Jekyll Island to start over.
