Phyllis was so unexpectedly engaging that Leachman starred in a spinoff series of her own, “Phyllis,” which ran on CBS from 1975 to 1977. Lexi Quigley, 23, and Blake Olson, 26, rescued Oscar when he was just 2 weeks old. Little Oscar could fit in the palm of Quigley's hand when she found him and had only just opened his eyes and ears. At 11 weeks, Quigley weaned Oscar off the bottle and got him to start eating fruit. While it took one of their dogs a little time to get used to him, Oscar is now just one of the family.
