The clerks across the area have joined forces to offer two weeks of services that can help drivers save some money, reduce their financial stress and get them back on the road with a legal driver’s license.

Many Clerks of Court in the Jacksonville area are holding ‘Operation Green Light , which is a driver license reinstatement event, in March.

The St. Johns County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller will hold its annual Operation Green Light driver license reinstatement event April 4-8.

Operation Green Light will continue throughout the week through Oct. 18 during regular 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., at the Duval County Courthouse, the Duval County Tax Collectors office as well as any tax collectors branch location during those hours. The Duval County Clerks of Courts says this is a great way for people to get their lives back on track. The last Operation Green Light was four years ago and it was a one-day event raising more than $500,000. According to the Duval County Clerk of Courts, the money raised through the first Operation Green Light helped more than 30 entities throughout the county.
