High school and college educators say that student use of artificial intelligence has become so widespread that they need to rethink how to assign and assess students.

Even though Fernandina Beach won’t see a population boom in the coming decades, it still has to be able to accommodate those moving to the county because people from those developing areas will come into their downtown, use their beaches and other resources, according to the city.

A proposal to tear down four homes and make way for townhouses just steps away from historic downtown Fernandina Beach drew dozens of people to a Planning Advisory Board meeting Wednesday night.
