A team of forest rangers in New York state have rescued a moose who became trapped in an icy lake.

A Florida Amber Alert issued in March for a 17-year-old girl missing from Chattanooga, Tennessee, was canceled early Friday when authorities announced she had been found safe in southern Alabama.

The agency states that in June 2020, authorities in Hamilton County Tennessee secured a warrant for John Westbrook, charging him with custodial interference. Most recently, on Feb. 23, 2021, a Hamilton County grand jury indicted John Westbrook on a charge of aggravated kidnapping in connection to the 17-year-old’s disappearance. The district attorney in Hamilton County said a sighting was reported in Fort Walton Beach on March 6. Authorities believe John Westbrook may have also traveled to the western United States with Daphne Westbrook. “And in recent weeks, evidence uncovered during the investigation into John Westbrook has led authorities to become increasingly concerned for Daphne’s wellbeing.”

A former Ohio judge who was sentenced to six months in jail had to be dragged out of the courtroom after her hearing this week. Former Hamilton County juvenile court Judge Tracie Hunter was sentenced after she helped her brother, a county employee, keep his job. Hunter was dragged out of the courtroom by an officer. She lost her job as a judge, her law license, her ability to earn an income. Shes lost peace of mind.Despite the pushback, Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Patrick Dinkelacker upheld the sentencing.
