JACKSONVILLE, Fla. A fire engine went off Interstate 95 near Emerson Street and overturned Wednesday afternoon. A Jacksonville Fire and Rescue spokesman said all firefighters aboard the vehicle were hospitalized even though there appeared to be no significant injures. This happened about 2:45 p.m. and continues to block two fo the four soutbound lanes, which has caused significant backups. JFRD said they will provide details of the accident and the injuries in a briefing at 5 p.m.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla - A dozen employees, including the manager at Wacko's Jacksonville were arrested Friday afternoon during a raid by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Several women were escorted out of Wackos in handcuffs with police covering their faces with cardboard. "The cops came in and put all the girls in the locker room to check and make sure that we're following the law. If the girls were not following the law, they got arrested," she said. Dancers who were not arrested were free to leave after the raid.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A woman who police said was struck by a car in the Lakewood neighborhood died Wednesday afternoon, her family said. Family and friends said she was struck while crossing the street to get to a bus stop. Police said the woman was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Robinson suffered a brain injury that put her in the intensive care unit, her brother told News4Jax. Robinson died about 2 p.m. Wednesday in the hospital, her daughter said.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A Jacksonville man who referenced El Paso during a complaint call Thursday to the Walmart on Philips Highway just south of Emerson Street has been banned from all Walmart stores in Northeast Florida, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. The man's call led the Philips Highway Walmart staff to evacuate their store Thursday afternoon. News4Jax went to the store and an officer said Walmart made the decision to close before police even arrived to investigate. During the call, which was recorded, he "made reference to the Walmart in El Paso" where nearly two dozen people were shot and killed last weekend, the incident report said. Walmart management asked that the man be ordered not to come to any Walmart property in Northeast Florida.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Walmart on Philips Highway just south of Emerson Street was evacuated Thursday afternoon after an "unhappy customer" made "uncomfortable" statements, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said. Our newsroom started receiving calls and emails just after 12:30 p.m., saying shoppers and employees were cleared out from the store. News4Jax went to the store and saw a handful of officers standing around and employees coming and going from the store. The Sheriff's Office later announced that an "unhappy customer" had "made statements that made others feel uncomfortable" and Walmart had decided to evacuate out of an abundance of caution. Police said just before 2:30 p.m. the customer been ordered not to come back onto the property and the Walmart would be opening back up soon.
