Her responsibilities in this role include being on hand to alter performer costumes to ensure not just a good fit, but to prevent wardrobe malfunctions. She says it’s important to use heavy thread and a strong stitch for these types of costumes because there is a lot of movement. She says the most exciting part of her job is working on transforming costumes, for example when the plotline calls for a magical transformation while still onstage.

The Military Museum of North Florida honors ALL service men and women from EVERY branch of the service. There are pictures and displays of uniforms, weapons and equipment from each of our major conflicts. You can see what it must have been like to live on the western front in World War I. The equipment and photos from the Vietnam War show how far warfare had progressed since WWI. There are examples of vehicles from the Korean era through Vietnam and beyond. The museum has many special events including displays of military art like these from noted artist John Shaw. Among other events are our Military History Day, D-Day Commemoration, National Holidays and other memorable days in military history.

Jacoby is currently the world-record holder as the fastest man running 100 meters on spring-loaded stilts. He broke the record at Burning Man in the summer of 2018, and then again a few months later in Boulder, Colorado with a time of 13.4 seconds. Now, Jacoby is using his physical strength and persistence to race on stilts in the London Marathon. He and his team are documenting his journey in a short documentary that will air on his YouTube Channel, The Ben Jacoby.

Here’s how she transformed them from clear glass bottles to tiny genie bottle bud vases. Eden said " The first step in adding some fun to these clear glass bottles is to make sure that anything I’m going to do to decorate them will stick. I spread on the bottles and I applied a thin layer of the tissue paper.”Once the tissue dried, she used a glue gun to create a textured design. She then painted the bottles, and accented the raised glue gun designs with gold paint.
