The 39-year-old man who was shot and killed at a “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake City is remembered as a successful fashion designer who devoted his life to celebrating artists from the Pacific Islands.

Salt Lake City police say a demonstrator who was shot at the city's “No Kings” protest has died and that the bullet that killed him appears to have been fired by one of the demonstration's peacekeepers.

Demonstrators came out in cities across the U.S. to protest President Donald Trump.
