CBS News says it is launching a streaming version of "60 Minutes" on the new Paramount Plus service, starting next week. The “60 Minutes Plus” program will debut March 4 with three separate episodes, the network announced Wednesday. For “60 Minutes Plus,” CBS is repurposing a team put together last year for a similar program, “60 in 6,” on the ill-fated Quibi platform. AdWhile “60 in 6” had shorter stories than the TV version of “60 Minutes,” the Paramount version will go longer. The stories and topics on the new streaming show will be geared to a younger, more diverse diverse audience.

She wasn't alone with coronavirus at “60 Minutes.” Owens declined to say how many others had it, but said everyone was well now. “60 Minutes” is no stranger to news, and became more topical when Jeff Fager replaced original producer Don Hewitt. Traditionally, “60 Minutes” essentially shuts down at the end of May for vacations and to prepare for next season's stories.
