A man and a woman inside one of the vehicles died from the crash. The cars crashed while one was making a left turn on Argyle Forest Boulevard. The Jacksonville Sheriffs Office Traffic Homicide is investigating what lead up to the crash to find out who was at fault. There have not been any witnesses to the crash at this time.

Baines chose to collect his winnings in a lump sum of $1,488,961.20 in lieu of receiving the total jackpot in periodic installments. Lottery officials said ticket sales for this drawing generated more than $2.4 million to contribute to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
