Stephanie Rodriguez

Reporter

Stephanie Rodriguez joined News 6 as a general assignment reporter in October 2024. She moved to Florida after spending her career in the Midwest, where she grew up.

She was born in Puerto Rico but was raised in the Chicago suburbs before graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in broadcast journalism. She began her career in Central Illinois and then moved up north to America's Dairyland, where she would spend over four years as an anchor and reporter.

Before moving to Orlando, Stephanie worked at the local CBS and Telemundo affiliates in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While there, she reported in English and Spanish, covering major political events, including presidential visits and the 2024 Republican National Convention. Stephanie is an award-winning and Emmy-nominated reporter who was featured in an episode of the CBS true crime series "48 Hours" after covering a Wisconsin court case dubbed the "Eye Drop Murder Trial."

As your Kissimmee Community Correspondent, I am ready to help share your stories and highlight the important issues happening in the growing city. From crime, traffic and construction to immigration and the local economy, I will be there to bring you the latest news. As a proud Puerto Rican, I can connect with the community of Kissimmee in both English and Spanish. If there is a story that you'd like me to cover or believe we aren't covering, please reach out to me. I want to be the reporter Kissimmee residents turn to when something happens, big or small.
