JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A freshman football player at Christ’s Church Academy in Mandarin got an unexpected visitor during his at-home workout -- and the moment has gone viral.
Isaiah Johnson was practicing in his backyard, using a chair, when Jaguars first-round draft pick Travis Hunter walked up behind him.

After doing a drill move and maneuvering around the chair, Johnson turned around to see the Heisman Trophy winner strolling up.
“Oh snap!” Johnson said before greeting Hunter and quickly asking for a photo.
The video, originally posted to TikTok by Fella Hunter, was shared by the NFL on X Monday afternoon.

After asking for the photo, Johnson jogged over to his back porch to grab his phone, yelling, “Mom, Travis Hunter’s outside!”
At the same time, Hunter turned back to the camera and said, “Never mind, he does know me.”
The idea that Hunter would think he might not be recognized by the young player tracks with what we’ve seen so far of the 22-year-old’s natural humility.
An earlier story went viral when a fan who sat next to Hunter on a flight posted about meeting “the nicest young man.”
It’s been a busy month for the former Colorado two-way superstar on and off the field.
Hunter was picked No. 2 in the NFL draft on April 24 and graduated from Colorado on May 8 with a degree in anthropology.
Then he found out he’d be wearing No. 12 for the Jaguars and was the star attraction at the team’s rookie minicamp on May 10.
And just days before surprising young Isaiah Johnson mid-workout, Hunter married his fiancée Leanna Lenee on Saturday.
