St. Johns River State kept right on rolling in the National Junior College Athletic Association World Series.
Princess Arredondo belted a grand slam and knocked in four runs to give the Vikings a 7-1 win over Northwest Mississippi Community College on Wednesday. SJRSC will face Copiah-Lincoln in the next round as they look to defend their national championship.

Arredondo, Alyssa Vallad and Bailey LeGere all had two hits to lead the way for SJRSC. The Vikings used Arredondo’s blast in the bottom of the second inning to grab a 5-0 lead and never look back. Vallad picked up the win in the circle with eight strikeouts and just a walk.
The Vikings have won 34 consecutive games in their 54-9 season and will look to keep that streak going.
