The Ospreys will have to beat South Carolina twice on Sunday to win the regional title. The first game is scheduled for 1 p.m. on ESPN2. UNF lost to the Gamecocks 3-0 Saturday, which advanced USC to the regional final.

UNF had to play Virginia for a second time after beating the Cavaliers 2-1 in the opening game Friday. That was the first-ever NCAA tournament win for UNF.

The Ospreys scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to cut the deficit to 5-4 heading into the final inning. Mackenzie Woods stepped up to the plate and smashed a game-tying home run. Then with two outs, Chloe Culp’s ground ball scored Lauren Brock for the game-winning run.
