JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars and rookie superstar Travis Hunter will start and end the season at home and also play in a “Monday Night Football” game for the third consecutive season as the NFL unveiled the 2025 schedule on Wednesday night.
For first-year head coach Liam Coen, it’s an entertaining schedule that includes a difficult first two months and a tough stretch on the back end that has Jacksonville on the road five times in a six-week stretch.

The headlining game of the schedule comes in Week 5 on Oct. 6 when Jacksonville hosts the Chiefs and star Patrick Mahomes at EverBank Stadium on Monday Night Football.
The Jaguars will have a Monday night game for the third time in as many seasons after going without one from 2012 to 2022. Jacksonville got walloped by the Bills 47-10 last year on Monday night and lost to the Bengals (34-31) in 2023.
The NFL schedule makers gave Jacksonville its first open and close at home since 2019. The Jaguars open with the Panthers on Sept. 7 and close with the Titans in Week 18 on a date that will be determined later in the year.
Jacksonville’s schedule is difficult in the early and middle parts. They visit the Bengals and quarterback Joe Burrow in Week 2, host the reigning AFC South champ Texans in Week 3 and travel to face San Francisco in Week 4. They return with the Chiefs on Monday night and host the Seahawks in Week 6 before heading to London to face the Rams.
The clash against Los Angeles is a meeting between Coen and general manager James Gladstone against the team where both cut their teeth in the NFL with.
The bye week arrives much earlier this year in Week 8 before a stretch of four road games in a five-week span. Jacksonville will visit the Raiders in Week 9 and Texans in Week 10 before hosting the Chargers. Then, they hit the airways for three consecutive road games; at Arizona, at Tennessee and Indianapolis. They host the Jets in Week 15 before road games at Denver and Indianapolis.
