JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Icemen released their schedule for next season on Thursday, with their 2025-26 year starting on the road against the Greensboro Gargoyles on Oct. 18 and 19.
The Icemen will play in their home opener on Nov. 7 against the Atlanta Gladiators at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

The team will also face three teams who have never played in Jacksonville the Gargoyles, the Iowa Heartlanders and the Kansas City Mavericks.
The Icemen, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and AHL’s Rochester Americans. For the 2024-2025 season, the Icemen hit a “hat trick” of their own, bringing in the most fans in the league, averaging around 9,200 people per game.
The Icemen reached the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season, winning 42 games, the second-best mark in franchise history. Jacksonville has won 40 games or more each of the last three years. But the Icemen lost in the playoffs again to the Florida Everblades.
