JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Varsity 4 News4JAX Super 6 softball rankings presented by the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp will be published each Thursday in the regular season. Records are through April 30 games.

1. (1) Baker County (18-4, Class 4A)
Quality wins: Baldwin, Columbia (twice), Fort White, Hilliard, Keystone Heights (twice), Middleburg (twice), Oakleaf, Paxon, West Nassau (twice).
Notable: The Wildcats are in the District 4-3A title game against Columbia on Thursday night, and end the season right where they started, in the top spot here. Baleigh Shields (.534, 4 HR, 19 RBI) and Chloe Johnson (.359, 2 HR, 17 RBI) lead the Baker County regulars.
2. (2) Matanzas (20-1, Class 5A)
Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Beachside, DeLand, Spruce Creek, St. Cloud, Taylor Pierson, Orange City University (twice), West Nassau (twice).
Notable: Gators signee Leah Stevens and the Pirates are in the District 4-5A championship on Thursday night against Ponte Vedra. They’ve won 12 straight entering this game. Stevens (.474), Juliet Fogel (.456, 2 HR, 15 RBI), McKenzie Manhart (.448, 10 RBI) and Jordyn Crews (.429) lead Matanzas at the plate. Stevens has whiffed 193 in 82.2 IP in the circle.
3. (3) Fort White (17-5, Rural)
Quality wins: Branford, Columbia, Santa Fe (twice), Trenton, Williston (twice).
Notable: This Indians beat Bell (9-0) to move into Friday’s District 6 Rural title game against Branford. Senior Kadence Compton (.419, 5 HR) leads at the plate and in the circle (14-4, 125.2 IP, 171 Ks, 0.56 ERA) and has the ability to get the Indians back to the final four.
4. (4) Baldwin (18-7, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Baker County, Bartram Trail, Bishop Snyder (twice), Columbia, Mandarin, Middleburg, Paxon (twice), Trinity Catholic.
Notable: The Indians continue winning district titles, shutting out Bishop Snyder 4-0 for their fourth straight. Kendall North (.436, 20 RBI, 2 HR), Izabella Screws (.413, 12 RBI), Makaila Fry (.388, 25 RBI), Raven Watson (.361, 13 RBI) and Jazmine Ramos-Merced (.360, 9 HR, 33 RBI) are leading the way. Baldwin is the likely No. 2 seed in Region 1-2A.
5. (5) Atlantic Coast (21-5, Class 7A)
Quality wins: Baldwin, Bishop Kenny, Creekside, Episcopal, Fleming Island, Fletcher (twice), Paxon.
Notable: The Stingrays will face Creekside in the District 1-7A championship on Thursday night. They’re a quality team who has spent time at the No. 1 spot. Stella Lynton (.422), Emma Cano (.373), Skye Deans (.362), Lily Maguire (.352) and Morgan Brown (.344) lead Atlantic Coast.
T6. (T6) Episcopal (20-5, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Clay, Creekside, Mandarin, Nease, Paxon, Ponte Vedra, Trinity, Christian, West Nassau, Yulee.
Notable: The Eagles have won a district game since our last Super 6 and will face Providence on Thursday night against Providence in the District 4-2A championship. Amelia Oreair (.462, 7 HR, 31 RBI), Emily Davidson (.444, 19 RBI), Crissie Clayman (.360, 16 RBI), Claire Cinnamond (.338, 19 RBI) and Riley Valent (.321, 4 HR, 21 RBI) lead the Eagles.
T6. (6) Middleburg (18-8, Class 5A)
Quality wins: Baldwin, Bartram Trail, Clay, Columbia, Cornerstone Charter, Episcopal, Fletcher, Mandarin, Nease, Oakleaf, West Nassau, Yulee.
Notable: The Broncos beat Orange Park (11-0) and Fleming Island (5-4) to win the District 3-5A tournament and sew up a playoff spot. They’ve won three straight, which is some needed consistency heading into the postseason. Kerra Clarida (.455, 4 HR, 28 RBI), Mallory Ficklin (.358), Mika Wesley (.354), KK Hagan (.329, 17 RBI) and Emma Ward (.328) are leading Middleburg.
