Surprise! Patriots receiver DeMario Douglas makes good on his promise, surprises mom with Range Rover

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – New England Patriots receiver DeMario Douglas always promised to do something special for his mom when he reached the NFL.

Now entering his third season, the St. Augustine native and former star at both Menendez and Mandarin high schools shocked his mother, Angie Mack, on Saturday morning with the surprise of her life.

A brand-new Range Rover.

A single mom, Angie raised Douglas and his two younger brothers while working in the financial and investment industries.

Douglas has always sought to try and pay it forward and give back. While Douglas was still in college at Liberty, he started a Christmas bike and gift giveaway in St. Augustine. He’s kept that going annually.

Douglas has 1,182 receiving yards and three touchdowns in two seasons with New England. He was a sixth-round pick in 2023 and has been a contributor in the NFL since his arrival.
