1. (1) Clay (9-0, Class 2A)
Quality win: Dunnellon, Fleming Island, Oakleaf, Ridgeview.
Notable: The Blue Devils added a couple Ws since our last Super 6, including their first true quality win of the season. Clay cooled off a red-hot Fleming Island 13-0 on Tuesday night. Clay has been the wire-to-wire No. 1 team this season, but it has lacked any real competition. A win over Fleming shows just what Clay is capable of against a very good team. They wrap up the regular season on April 8 against Florida Deaf.
2. (3) Ponte Vedra (11-1, Class 3A)
Quality wins: Davenport, Destin, Fletcher, Sandalwood, Tocoi Creek, Wakulla.
Notable: The first-year Sharks handled two sub-.500 opponents since our last Super 6, beating St. Augustine (20-6) and Flagler Palm Coast (33-0).. QB Izzy Murray has 23 TD passes, 10 of those to Julia Conroy. That duo star on defense, too, with 16 combined picks. They wrap up the regular season at Menendez (Wednesday) and then at 10-2 Yulee on April 7.
3. (2) Bradford (8-1, Class 1A)
Quality wins: Ridgeview, Suwannee.
Notable: The Tornadoes went 2-1 since our last Super 6, including a tough 20-19 loss to a 9-1 Buchholz. Not a bad loss because Bradford really needs to see some stiff competition entering the playoffs. The schedule has been light. Nichelle Brown has 21 TD catches for Bradford.
4. (4) Fleming Island (7-2, Class 3A)
Quality wins: Baldwin, Mandarin, Paxon, White.
Notable: The Golden Eagles went 1-1 since our last Super 6, a 13-12 win over a quality White, followed by a 13-0 loss to No. 1 Clay. They’ve got Oakleaf (Thursday) up next to round out the week. Emily Poucher and Audrey Ellis have 11 combined TD catches. Poucher and Devyn Dudones have nine of the team’s 11 interceptions.
5. (6) Fletcher (9-2, Class 3A)
Quality wins: Atlantic Coast (twice), Paxon, Sandalwood, White.
Notable: The Senators beat Atlantic Coast twice since our last Super 6, the latter of those in the quarterfinals of the Gateway tournament. Up next is White, a team that it beat 21-0 last month. A win there will send them on to Friday’s title game against Stanton or Mandarin.
6. (NR) Stanton (8-3, Class 2A)
Quality wins: Atlantic Coast, Fletcher, Ponte Vedra, Sandalwood, Yulee.
Notable: Again, a tough decision on this spot, but a bit more clarity this week. The Blue Devils get the nod here over Bartram Trail and Yulee. Stanton has quality wins over Ponte Vedra and Fletcher early this season as well as a 13-12 win over Yulee and a 14-12 win over Sandalwood since our last Super 6. The Blue Devils face Mandarin in the Gateway Conference semifinals and will likely collide with White in the championship. Catherine Brewer has 11 interceptions, a couple TD passes, three scoring rushes and four TD catches.

Mandarin (8-4, Class 4A).
